Jean Louise, formerly known as Scout, has returned from NYC for a visit. She is now 26 years old and her brother, Jim, is deceased. Her high school sweetheart, Henry, is practicing law with her father, Atticus. She is strongly drawn to this town, but loves the cosmopolitan nature of NYC.
